Debbie Charbonneau
Death Doula
End-of-Life Shaman
Debbie is trained in holistic practices to aid and support individuals and their loved ones with death and dying processes.
She started her healing path in 1993 in a Women’s Circle, which led her to study and achieve 3rd level Reiki. While living in Montréal, she studied at the Institut des Thérapeutiques Naturelles de Montréal for three years and graduated as a Homeopath. A desire to deepen her knowledge of plants led her to apprentice with Kathleen Leeson RH, an Ottawa based Shamanic Healer and Clinical Herbalist. Through that process she was introduced to Celtic Shamanism, which she studied further with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies. She continued her education of traditional healing practices by attending and graduating in 2006, from the Traditional Healer Internship program also offered by Kathleen Leeson RH. In 2007, she graduated from the Palliative Care Certificate program at Algonquin College.
She is a mother and has worked in Health Sciences since 1986. With all of her combined experience and skills, she is pleased to be offering her services, to those in need in both official languages.
