Dying Well Title

In our modern time there is a renewed interest in the concept of dying well, which is one of Debbie's main inspirations in offering these services.

Dying well requires making peace with what has happened and what hasn’t happened during one's life, seeing and accepting the wisdom in the journey one has lived.  Dying well means consciously ‘navigating the waters’ of one's own final journey.  Part of the process is letting go of whatever, and whomever one may be attached to from one's life; surrendering the pain, hurts and regrets as well as the joys, the pleasures and the happy moments in order to be able to freely have the experience of love and relationship without being ‘bound’ by them.

Debbie is a Death Doula and End-of-Life Shaman.  Her intention is to offer at the end of life process, the gifts of Grace, Dignity and Compassion, which is the birthright of all Beings. To aid in the reclamation of this Traditional approach to the process of dying in the culture at large and offer the dying person and their families a safe and compassionate environment in which to support their process as they face their challenges with end-of-life questions, issues or experiences.  Debbie is a non-denominational practitioner, hence, she works with people of various faiths and beliefs about what happens upon death. Her aim is not to impose her beliefs, but rather to honour the person’s own unique faith on the path in the transition towards death.

Using this time of one's life to heal allows the possibility of dying with dignity.  It offers someone to face the life one has lived and embrace it fully.  This is a possibility for anyone who desires it in their own dying experience.
